🧾 Ingredients:

1 pound ground beef

1 medium onion, chopped

3–4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup (or cream of chicken)

1/2 cup milk

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: garlic powder, paprika, or parsley for garnish

 

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

2. Cook the ground beef with chopped onion in a skillet over medium heat until the beef is browned. Drain the fat.

3. Season with salt, pepper, and any optional spices you like (garlic powder or paprika).

4. In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup with milk until smooth.

5. Grease a baking dish, then layer half of the thinly sliced potatoes at the bottom.

6. Add half of the cooked beef mixture on top of the potatoes.

7. Pour half of the soup mixture over the beef.

8. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheese over the top.

9. Repeat the layers: potatoes, beef, soup mixture, and cheese.
