Ingredients:
4 cups seasoned stuffing mix (or stale bread cubes)
2 celery stalks, finely chopped
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 tablespoons butter
1 cup chicken broth (or vegetable broth)
1 egg, beaten
Salt and pepper, to taste
Gravy, for topping (optional but recommended)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Sauté the vegetables:
In a skillet, melt the butter and sauté the chopped celery and onion over medium heat until soft (about 5 minutes).
Prepare the stuffing mixture:
In a large bowl, combine the stuffing mix with sautéed vegetables. Add the chicken broth and beaten egg. Mix until everything is moistened but not too wet. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Shape into balls:
Form the mixture into balls (about the size of a golf ball) and place them on a greased baking tray.
Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and firm.
Serve with warm gravy drizzled on top.
