Ingredients:
2 cans crescent roll dough (8 rolls each)
2 large peaches (peeled and sliced into 16 wedges)
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
1 ½ cups granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 can (12 oz) lemon-lime soda (like Sprite or 7Up)
—
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
2. Wrap peaches: Separate the crescent roll dough into triangles. Place one peach slice at the wide end of each triangle and roll it up. Place each dumpling in the baking dish.
3. Prepare sauce: In a bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon until well combined. Pour this mixture evenly over the dumplings.
4. Add soda: Pour the lemon-lime soda around (not on top of) the dumplings in the baking dish.
5. Bake for 35–40 minutes, until the dumplings are golden brown and the sauce is bubbly.
6. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
