Glazed Roast Ham Recipe

🥩 Ingredients:

1 whole ham (pre-cooked, 3–4 kg)

1 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup honey (or maple syrup for a twist)

1/4 cup Dijon mustard (adds a touch of tang)

1/2 teaspoon ground cloves (warm, aromatic flavor)

1/2 cup orange juice or pineapple juice (for freshness)

🔥 Preparation:

1. Preheat your oven to 165°C (325°F).

2. Place the ham in a large baking dish. With a sharp knife, score the surface in a diamond pattern — this helps the glaze sink deep inside.

3. In a bowl, whisk together brown sugar, honey, mustard, cloves, and juice until smooth and glossy.

4. Brush the glaze all over the ham, making sure it’s well coated.

5. Cover with foil and roast for 1.5 to 2 hours, basting every 30 minutes with more glaze. Each layer makes it sweeter and shinier!

6. For the grand finale, remove the foil in the last 20 minutes and let the ham caramelize into a beautiful golden crust.

7. Let it rest for 10 minutes, slice it up, and serve warm.

✨ The result? A tender, flavorful ham with a sticky, sweet glaze that melts in your mouth. Perfect for holidays, family gatherings, or anytime you want to wow your guests!
