Fried Chicken

Ingredients:

Chicken pieces (thighs, drumsticks, or breast)

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon baking powder (optional for extra crispiness)

2 large eggs

1 cup milk or buttermilk

Vegetable oil for frying

Preparation:

1. In a large bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and baking powder.

2. In another bowl, whisk eggs and milk (or buttermilk) until well combined.

3. Dip each chicken piece into the flour mixture, then into the egg mixture, and back into the flour mixture for a double coating.

4. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat until it reaches about 175°C (350°F).

5. Fry the chicken pieces in batches until golden brown and fully cooked, about 12–15 minutes, depending on size.

6. Place fried chicken on a wire rack to drain excess oil.

7. Serve hot and enjoy!
