Ingredients:

3 large potatoes (peeled and cut into fries)

1 egg

2 tablespoons cornstarch (or flour)

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Salt to taste

Vegetable oil for frying

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

Prepare the Potatoes:

Peel the potatoes and cut them into fry-shaped strips.

Rinse them in cold water and dry well with a towel.

Coating:

In a bowl, beat the egg and mix in the cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.

Add the potato fries to the bowl and mix until all are well coated with the egg mixture.

Frying:

Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.

Fry the potatoes in batches until golden and crispy.

Place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.

Serve:

Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
