✅ Ingredients:

2 sheets of puff pastry, thawed

2 cups fresh spinach (or 1 cup cooked, drained spinach)

1 cup ricotta cheese (or a mix of ricotta and feta)

1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese

1 egg, beaten (for brushing and filling)

1 clove garlic, minced (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

A pinch of nutmeg (optional)

Sesame seeds or dried herbs (optional, for topping)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).

2. In a bowl, mix together:

Chopped spinach (cooked and drained if using fresh)

Ricotta cheese

Mozzarella

1 egg (keep a little aside for brushing)

Garlic, salt, pepper, and nutmeg (if using)

3. Roll out the puff pastry sheets slightly and cut them into equal-sized squares or rectangles.

4. Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of half the squares.

5. Cover each with another square and press the edges with a fork to seal.

6. Brush the tops with the remaining beaten egg.

7. Optionally, sprinkle with sesame seeds or herbs.

8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20–25 minutes or until golden and puffed.

9. Let cool slightly and serve warm.
