🧀 Ingredients:

5 large potatoes (peeled and chopped)

2 tablespoons butter

1/2 cup milk

Salt and pepper to taste

300g ground beef

1 small onion (finely chopped)

1 tablespoon tomato paste

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon cumin (optional)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 to 1 ½ cups grated mozzarella or mixed cheese

 

🍽 Preparation:

1. Boil the Potatoes:
Boil the potatoes in salted water until soft. Drain, mash them, then add butter, milk, salt, and pepper. Mix until creamy.

2. Cook the Meat:
In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté chopped onion until soft. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Add tomato paste, paprika, salt, pepper, and cumin. Cook for another 5–10 minutes.

3. Assemble the Layers:

In a baking dish, spread a layer of mashed potatoes.

Add a layer of the cooked meat.

Repeat the layers, ending with a layer of mashed potatoes.

Sprinkle grated cheese generously on top.

 

4. Bake:
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C
