Ingredients:
4–5 ripe tomatoes (diced)
1 medium red onion (finely chopped)
2–3 green chilies or jalapeños (chopped)
1/2 cup fresh cilantro (chopped)
2 cloves of garlic (minced)
Juice of 1 lime
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Optional: 1 small cucumber or green bell pepper (chopped)

Instructions:
1. Prepare the ingredients: Wash and finely chop the tomatoes, onion, chilies, garlic, and cilantro.
2. Mix together: In a large bowl, combine the chopped tomatoes, onion, chilies, garlic, and cilantro.
3. Season: Add lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine all the flavors.
4. Store: Pour the salsa into a clean jar. Press it down gently to remove air bubbles.
5. Refrigerate: Let it chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to blend.
6. Serve: Enjoy with tortilla chips, grilled meats, tacos, or as a salad topping.
