Ingredients:
500g beef or chicken liver, cut into cubes
3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
Juice of half a lemon (optional)
Instructions:
Prepare the liver:
Rinse the liver under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels. Cut into bite-sized cubes.
Season:
Season the liver cubes with salt, pepper, and paprika if using.
Cook the liver:
In a large skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium-high heat.
Add the liver cubes and sauté for about 5–7 minutes, turning occasionally until browned on all sides and cooked through but still tender.
Add garlic:
Add the minced garlic and stir for another 1–2 minutes until fragrant (be careful not to burn the garlic).
Finish:
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and squeeze lemon juice over the top if desired. Serve hot.
