Ingredients:
1 box yellow or white cake mix
1 (21 oz) can strawberry pie filling
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a baking dish (9×13 inch works well).
Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly over the bottom of the dish.
Drop spoonfuls of softened cream cheese over the strawberry filling.
Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top.
Optional: You can add slices of butter or drizzle melted butter over the cake mix for a golden top.
Bake for about 35–40 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
Cool slightly, then serve warm or chilled with whipped cream if desired.
