Meatloaf

🧾 Ingredients:

1 kg (2.2 lbs) ground beef

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup breadcrumbs

2 eggs

1/2 cup milk

2 tbsp ketchup (for inside)

2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp paprika (optional)

1/2 tsp dried oregano (optional)

For the topping:

1/3 cup ketchup

1 tbsp brown sugar

1 tsp mustard (optional)

🍽 Preparation:

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

2. In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, chopped onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, eggs, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and spices.

3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it on a baking tray lined with foil or parchment paper.

4. In a small bowl, mix the topping ingredients (ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard), then spread it evenly over the meatloaf.

5. Bake for 55 to 65 minutes, or until the meat is cooked through.

6. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
