🍰 Instructions:
1. Make the Base:
Finely crush the chocolate cookies in a food processor or using a rolling pin.
Mix the crumbs with melted butter until well combined.
Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of a baking dish or pan.
Freeze for 10–15 minutes to set.
2. Prepare the Cream Layer:
In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
In another bowl, mix together the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and cream cheese (if using) until smooth.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the condensed milk mixture until fully combined.
Pour the cream mixture over the frozen cookie base and smooth the top.
Freeze for 4–6 hours or until firm.
3. Make the Chocolate Ganache:
Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan or microwave until hot but not boiling.
Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate in a bowl.
Let sit for 1 minute, then stir until smooth and glossy.
Allow it to cool for a few minutes, then pour it over the frozen cream layer and spread evenly.
4. Freeze and Serve:
Freeze the entire dessert for at least 1 more hour or until the ganache is set.
Slice and serve cold. Enjoy!
