Ingredients:

1 can (397g) sweetened condensed milk

2 cups (500 ml) whole milk

2 tablespoons cornstarch

2 egg yolks

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon unsalted butter

200g crushed tea biscuits (e.g., Maria biscuits or digestive biscuits)

Instructions:

Prepare the cream layer:

In a saucepan, mix the milk, sweetened condensed milk, cornstarch, and egg yolks.

Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens (about 5–7 minutes).

Remove from heat, add vanilla extract and butter. Stir until smooth and well combined.

Assemble the dessert:

Pour the cream mixture into a serving dish and spread evenly.

Sprinkle a thick, even layer of crushed biscuits on top.

Chill:

Refrigerate for at least 3–4 hours (or overnight) until fully set and chilled.

Serve cold and enjoy!
